The Finance and Asset Management and Innovations and Business Systems Departments are dedicated to providing support and services for the operation of the Authority.

The Asset Management Department oversees the human resources, procurement, grants management, policies and procedures, and internal auditing work for the housing authority. The staff ensures and monitors compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, guidelines, as well as GHA’s policies and procedures.

The Finance Department provides quality financial management to Greensboro Housing Authority. The department’s goals are to promote sound fiscal management; provide useful, accurate and timely financial reporting; enhance the authority’s integrity; provide financial-impact analysis for all business decisions; and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, rules, funding sources, and reporting requirements.

The Innovations and Business Systems Department keeps the Authority on the cutting edge of technology and enables GHA team members to be responsive to the needs of an ever-changing industry. Additionally, state of the art computer labs have been established at several of GHA’s larger communities and are used for educational training to public housing residents and children. These labs assist GHA residents to prepare for upward mobility leading to an improved quality of life.
