Greensboro Housing Authority has operated since 1941. The first two public housing developments were built in 1951 (Top Picture: Smith Homes, Bottom Picture: Morningside Homes). To meet the growing housing need, Ray Warren Homes (pictured in the header) was constructed in early 1958.

The Greensboro Housing Authority has provided over 80+ years of excellence in affordable housing. Since its establishment on June 17, 1941, the Greensboro Housing Authority has strived to fulfill its mission to the citizens of Greensboro, North Carolina.
